2022 was an unbelievable year in the wedding industry with an enormous amount of weddings taking place. It was my busiest year photographing both civil ceremonies and traditional church weddings. It was brilliant meeting so many different people, their families and friends and it was a privilege to be trusted with such an important occasion as a wedding.
I travelled the length and breath of Ireland photographed in the sun, ran in the rain and brought out my lights at nigh time and took some moments to look at the stars. Had the bants with brides, grooms, videographers, bridal hairdressers, makeup artists, parents, brothers, sisters, groomsmen, bridesmaids, wedding car drivers, celebrants, priests, musicians, church singers, florists, hotel staff, wedding bands to name just a few. It made me appreciate what a great job I have and the diversity that is contained in the career of a professional photographer. I’m truly blessed to be doing what I do.
If you are getting married in Ireland in 2023 there is limited availability and I am now taking bookings for 2024. Whilst I am now enjoying a well-deserved break, I’m looking forward meeting all my new wedding couples and wedding vendors that I meet along the way. There are so many fabulous wedding venues in Ireland, along with the not so traditional venues, weddings at The Cliffs of Moher in particular elopements and destination weddings are very popular. I love capturing wedding stories, the fun, emotion and moments that make every wedding unique.
