Aoife and Noel what can I say, an absolutely lovely couple. Their wedding ceremony was held in Ballymacward Church, a place I know very well as I originally come from that part of the world. Fr. Sweeney is the local priest, a true gentleman very warm, welcoming and humorous anytime I get to meet him it’s always a pleasure. Sean de Burca also added to the ceremony with his fabulous voice .We then headed into Galway City to Salthill and the Galway Bay Hotel, where Stephen Finn and his staff always provide a friendly professional service as well as being really nice people to work with. Stopped off on the promenade before heading into the Galway Bay Hotel for some pictures, and got very lucky with the weather it was slightly overcast with great textures in the sky. This is something I really like as it allows the opportunity for dramatic images particularly when off camera flash is added. I worked quite quickly and got a good range of images, I find that if I get a good twenty minutes to do my thing at any location with a bridal party it’s sufficient for me. For any photo enthusiast’s out there equipment of choice was a Nikon D4s with a 70-200m and a Nikon D850 with a 24-70 and off camera flash with a bare Godox V860ii
Was very happy with how the images worked out as where Aoife and Noel below is a snippet of some of the images. Also enjoyed the company of Triona Lyons a fabulous makeup artist as well as Mike Flannery an excellent videopgrapher.
