Megan and Ruairi recently held their wedding at The Connemara Coast Hotel on the Wild Atlantic Way. Situated only a short drive from Galway City and an absolutely stunning wedding venue. The sun shone and it was more akin to The Costa Del Sol or in this case Costa Connemara, the stunning coastline as a backdrop for an outside wedding ceremony.
The wedding day was based on the grounds of the hotel with bridal and groom prep taking place onsite, no driving involved between locations which is always a help on a wedding day, more time can be spent taking pictures and not worrying about travel timelines.
I started the morning with Megan’s prep and she was just super chilled along with her bridesmaids who were having great fun or craic as we say here in Ireland (not to be confused with other form of crack). There was an abundance of natural light in the hotel room and it was very easy to photograph candid documentary wedding photographs. Capturing those special moments that occur without over staging.
Ruari and his groomsmen were also great fun and I captured their prep and had some fun along the way. The boys were super cooperative which is always a help when it comes to getting the best photographs.
The Connemara Coast Hotel Wedding Gazebo, is a stunning shoreline structure that can provide a truly memorable moment for your wedding ceremony and this was where Megan and Ruairi said their I do’s.
The bridal photoshoot took place on the coastline with stunning sea views, I have photographed many weddings at The Connemara Coast Hotel and it never fails to impress me. On this particular day the sun shone but I have also been lucky enough to be there when the weather was little more inclement and even then the location is just breathtaking. I just love photographing weddings at The Connemara Coast Hotel.
Megan and Ruairi thank you for having me as your wedding photographer it was an absolute pleasure.
